Police have started investigating the death of a man whose body was found at the rooftop of a station of the Light Rail Transit in Manila Tuesday morning.
The body was found near the power rectifier of the northbound part of the LRT-1 station at Pedro Gil Street, radio dzBB's Carlo Mateo reported.
Investigators found signs of injuries that indicated possible torture, the report said.
Police described the victim as about 40 years old.
However, the report said the operations of the LRT-1 were not affected despite the discovery of the body.
The LRT connects Roosevelt in Quezon City to Baclaran in southern Metro Manila. —KG, GMA News
