Less than a year after they became sweethearts, Richard Poon and Maricar Reyes have decided to get engaged.
Richard revealed this new development in his life at the press launch of his new album "Legends" at Hotel Celeste on Monday, April 29. But he remained tight-lipped on the details of the engagement.
Pina-plan pa talaga namin. If you are planning for a wedding, ang daming detalye na pumapasok," Richard said when asked when he and Maricar will tie the knot.
"Pag may detalye, dahan-dahan naming ibibigay," he added.
Parents’ support
The crooner shared that their respective parents highly approve their relationship.

Richard admires Maricar’s character and simplicity.
"Unang kita ko pa lang kay Maricar sa Betty La Fea, crush ko na siya. May character siya, grace under pressure. She has gone through a lot. I like how her character handled it. She's a very simple and private person."
The couple announced their relationship on Kris TV in August 2012.
