Charice has performed with many foreign artists, including Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli, but sharing the stage with Aiza Seguerra is a “dream come true” for her.

Aiza and Charice performed an acoustic version of the hit song “Titanium” at the former and Noel Cabangon’s “Tambayan Hits” concert at Onstage Greenbelt on Friday, June 21.

Noel praised Charice, saying “Bilib ako sa courage niya,” before calling her on stage.

“Nagpapasalamat ako kay Aiza for giving me that opportunity to perform with her. Sana hindi iyon ang last. Sana maulit pa,” Charice said in an interview on “The Buzz” on Sunday, June 23.

The OMG! Awards Female Performer of the Year nominee looks forward to bonding with Aiza, whom she considers one of her inspirations. The two performers are open about their gender orientation.

Private conversation

“I think it would be great to have a private conversation and bonding with her. Isa rin siya sa mga inspirasyon ko. It would be nice to hear things and advices and everything from her,” Charice told "Showbiz Inside Report."

Ever since she came out as a lesbian, Charice has become more visible in TV shows and interviews. She will also be releasing a new album in the Philippines.

The international singer admitted she and her mother, Raquel Pempengco, have yet to reconcile. Raquel disapproves of Alyssa Quijano, Charice’s girlfriend.

‘Family is family'

After all, Charice added, “Family is always family.”
