Filipino rescuers pull a rubber

track tropical storm Trami which has been estimated at 550 kilometers
east of Batanes province in the northern Philippines with maximum winds
of 75 kilometers per hour.
Many parts of Metro Manila and nearby areas were
flooded Monday amid southwest monsoon rains enhanced by tropical storm
"Maring."
Malacanang has also ordered the suspension of classes and government work in areas affected by floods amid the heavy rains.
