Filipinos now have the chance to show US President Barack Obama the beauty of the Philippines.
US ambassador Harry Thomas Jr. said Filipinos can "post on the US Embassy website and Facebook" account their recommendations on which places they think President Obama should see during his visit here on October.

Thomas was answering questions from media on whether Obama will have time to see other places in the country.
Obama is coming to the Philippines for his Southeast Asia tour “as part of his ongoing commitment to increase U.S. political, economic and security engagement with the Asia Pacific.”

His visit to the Philippines will be his last stop for the tour and will be his first visit to the country.

It was earlier reported that President Obama and President Aquino will hold talks to “reaffirm the strong economic, people-to-people, and security links between our two countries.”

Head of the Presidential Communications Development and Strategic Planning Group Ricky Carandang said the talks would also likely include China’s efforts to expand its maritime borders in the South China Sea, including into the much disputed West Philippine Sea.
